Bridges

A bridge is a fixed prosthetic which replaces missing teeth. Bridgework incorporates teeth on both sides of the missing teeth and is bonded or cemented. The teeth adjacent to the missing tooth or teeth are reduced in order to do this. These teeth are stabilized as a bridge is cemented. Bridges can be made of many materials such as porcelain, gold, or porcelain fused to metal.
