Insurance Information
Family Dentistry of Lowell is happy to help you receive the maximum benefits available under your dental policy. Please bring your dental benefits booklet and insurance card to the office so we can better answer your specific questions.
If you have insurance benefits, please pay your deductible plus any co-payment due at the time of treatment. No insurance company attempts to cover all dental costs.
It usually takes three to six weeks for benefits to be paid. We will continue to seek settlement from your insurance company for a reasonable amount of time. If after 60 days the insurance company has not paid, we will ask you to pay the balance.
The service we provide amounts to an agreement between the patient and the office. The insurance relationship constitutes an agreement between the carrier and the patient, not the carrier and the dentist.
Care Credit
Care Credit is a card used to pay out-of- pocket health care expenses not covered by insurance. It is different from a regular credit card. It has extended financing options that you cannot get when you use a regular Visa or MasterCard.
At Family Dentistry of Lowell, we participate with Care Credit's short term financing option of 6 months at zero percent interest on charges of $200 or more. Long term financing options include 24-60 months at varying interest rates, where Family Dentistry of Lowell pays a portion of the interest.
Care Credit is accepted by over 200,000 providers across the nation. Other out-of- pocket health care expenses at different locations can also be applied to Care Credit.
