Dr. Jessica McCane

I've always been drawn to a career where I could care for others and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Dentistry drew me in because it combines science, artistry, and personal connection — giving me the opportunity to help patients feel confident in their smiles while also improving their overall health.
I grew up in Sparta, Michigan, with a lifelong love of art. In high school and college, I took many art classes, including jewelry and metalsmithing at Grand Valley State University, where one of my pieces was even purchased by the university. That creative foundation has carried into my dental career, where I enjoy using my artistic skills every day to design and restore healthy, natural smiles.
I went on to study Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State University before completing my Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. I was honored to graduate at the top of my class and be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. More than the achievements themselves, I value the knowledge and experience they represent — tools I now use to make each patient feel comfortable, understood, and truly cared for.
My philosophy is simple: I treat every patient like family. Whether someone visits for a routine hygiene treatment or a more complex procedure, I want their experience to feel calm, comfortable, and supported. My hope is that every patient leaves not only with a healthier smile, but also with the reassurance that they were truly listened to and cared for.
Outside of dentistry, I live in Rockford with my husband, Connor, who is also a dentist. Together, we enjoy spending time with our families, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. We love being part of the West Michigan community and take advantage of all it has to offer — from local events to time outdoors.
